Her debut psychological thriller, Hidden District, is the flagship story world of Swann and Cipher and the first novel in a four-book series exploring family, loyalty, buried history, power, and the consequences of what communities inherit.

The Long Way Back to the Page
Charlotte has been writing since long before she called herself an author. After spending more than two decades building a career, raising a family, and living the life that would eventually inform her work, she returned to writing with a perspective shaped as much by experience as imagination.
Raised in Southern California, Charlotte's storytelling is deeply influenced by places, family, history, food, memory, and the complicated ways communities learn to survive what was built around them.
Her work lives at the intersection of psychological suspense, family saga, historical consequence, dark humor, and morally complicated characters.
She is less interested in perfect people than in what people become when loyalty, grief, power, and survival demand a choice.

Building a Home for the Stories
Swann and Cipher grew from Charlotte's belief that some stories are capable of living in more than one form.
What began with writing, expanded into a larger vision for publishing, entertainment, and literary experiences where original stories could grow without surrendering the character, history, and intention that made them worth telling.
Hidden District became the first expression of that vision.
The company became the home built around it.

The Story Beneath the Work
Charlotte's creative life also carries the memory of her eldest son, Derrek, whose death in 2021 changed the way she understood grief, time, and the urgency of unfinished work.
His life helped shape an earlier chapter of her creative journey and remains part of the personal history beneath the work she creates today.
